Welcome to Valent Leather!

I’m John Valent, the creator and inspiration behind Valent Leather. My passion for crafting leather products began with my grandfather who would repair items, and many times improve household items, using leather. My grandfather stressed the importance of using a quality material like leather for its durability and versatility. In 2015, I was able to work alongside a professional leather worker which is when I began creating my own products from leather.

At Valent Leather, we believe in the beauty of natural materials. Each product is carefully handcrafted using leather from Horween Leather Co. and sewn using thread from Maine Thread Company, both companies proudly from the U.S.A. The quality of our vendors ensures we deliver a product to you which is durable, and the unique character of each product improves over time. Whether you are looking for something for yourself or as a gift, I aim to provide products that not only serve a purpose but tell a story.
